Marshall’s Transport lands BRCGS AA+ accreditation
Family run logistics specialist Marshall’s Transport has achieved a gold standard industry accreditation recognising its commitment to product handling and food safety.
The Pershore based firm has been awarded AA+ certification by the British Retail Consortium Global Standards (BRCGS), following a recent unannounced audit.
The BRCGS certification is a globally recognised benchmark for the highest possible standards in food safety, hygiene, quality management and traceability.
It is widely regarded as the most rigorous third party standard of its kind, highlighting its recipients’ commitment to maintaining exceptional levels of quality, legality and safety.
AA+ is the highest grade achievable and the ‘plus’ can only achieved when the audit is unannounced.
Marshall’s Transport, which is a shareholder member of the UK wide Pallet-Track network, also holds Soil Association certification for the storage of ambient pre-packed organic products.

Brian Simpson, operations director at Marshall’s Transport, said: ‘Achieving BRCGS AA+ accreditation is a reflection of the standards we hold ourselves to every day, and a deserved accolade for our hard working team.
‘All aspects of food safety and storage are handled with the utmost care, ensuring our customers’ products are stored correctly and delivered to their destination in perfect condition.
‘The trust our customers place in us is hard earned, and maintaining the service levels they are accustomed to is down to a continuous process of improvement.’
Marshall’s Transport offers a wide range of freight transport and logistics services and has served customers in Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and the wider West Midlands and south west since 1945.
