whistl3Whistl, the second largest postal operator in the UK, is investing in 100 new tractor units, with a £9million value, to replace part of its current fleet.  The three-year deal with BRS, one of the largest contract hire commercial fleet companies, will see Renault trucks introduced to the Whistl fleet from next month.

The new trucks provide improved MPG and meet the new Euro 6 Standard regulations.  They also provide improved facilities for drivers including comfort seats, split bunks and a fridge.

The investment follows the completion of the management buy-out of Whistl late last year and the trucks with be located at various Whistl sorting depots including Glasgow, Rugby Warrington, Bristol and Iver
