CEVA builds new logistics facility for Daikin Spain

CEVA Logistics has started construction of a new 27,000m2 warehouse in Guadalajara, dedicated to air conditioning manufacturer Daikin.

Operations are expected to begin during the first quarter of 2027 with construction having begun following a groundbreaking ceremony at the end of last year.

The project, which is designed to optimise Daikin’s logistics flows, also includes the implementation of advanced infrastructure and IT systems to enable more efficient inventory management and full product traceability. It also covers the installation of storage systems, the reconfiguration of the facilities to accommodate new operational layouts, as well as the incorporation of office spaces and tailored solutions such as drive-in systems.

The new logistics centre is said to have been designed in line with the highest standards of quality, efficiency and sustainability. It will be certified BREEAM Very Good, endorsing the integration of renewable energy sources, LED lighting systems, solutions for efficient water consumption management, and the use of materials with a low carbon footprint.

CEVA has been Daikin’s logistics partner in Spain for 21 years. At present, CEVA Logistics provides services to Daikin from its Alovera facility.

Headquartered in Marseille, France, CEVA Logistics offers a broad range of end-to-end, customised solutions in contract logistics and air, ocean, ground and finished vehicle transport in 170 countries worldwide thanks to its approximately 110,000 employees at approximately 1,500 facilities.
