Zellis, the market-leading provider of payroll and HR solutions, is delighted to partner with Yodel to provide a complete colleague background checking service, enabling the parcel delivery company to quickly hire and verify thousands of roles across the UK.  

Handling more than 160 million parcels every year, Yodel is one of the country’s largest delivery services. Despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, Yodel has experienced a significant increase in order volumes, and continues to hire both employed and self-employed courier delivery drivers. To help improve the speed, reliability and cost-effectiveness of Yodel’s HR operations, Zellis will co-ordinate the end-to-end colleague screening cycle, conducting all relevant background checks, liaising with candidates, handling queries, and reporting to management and suppliers through its software.  

Zellis’s dedicated background checking software integrates easily with Yodel’s existing IT systems, unlocking automation opportunities to eliminate the costly administrative burden faced by the HR department. In particular, the integration with Yodel’s applicant tracking system (ATS) will further accelerate time-to-hire, reduce data entry errors, and improve visibility into the progress of individual applicants.
