ArrowXL, the UK’s leading two-man home delivery experts, has made a senior appointment to help support the next phase of its growth. Aaron Powell joins the team as National Fleet Operations Manager, based at the company’s site in Wigan.
In his new role, Aaron will oversee all aspects of ArrowXL’s fleet management including procurement, maintenance, ensuring all vehicles are compliant and managing key suppliers. The company currently operates 230 vehicles and 95 trailers.
With more than 30 years of experience working within the transport and logistics industry, Aaron joins the business from HSS Hire, where he most recently held the position of National Fleet Manager. He had previously worked at Speedy Asset Services and Toilet Hire, as well as Nightfreight, where he began his career as a Proof of Delivery Clerk in 1985.
Commenting on his appointment, Aaron said: “This is a fresh challenge at a organisation with an excellent reputation and I cannot wait to get started. My extensive knowledge in fleet management will ensure I am able to contribute to the company’s continuing success.”
