Delivery Expert Reveals Your Favourite Stores’ Christmas Deadlines
How late can shoppers leave ordering gifts this year? Global courier ParcelHero has bought back its popular online tool revealing the UK’s top retailers’ final Christmas order deadlines.
How late dare shoppers leave last-minute online Christmas ordering? Anyone thinking they have 18 days left to shop is in for a shock: many stores’ standard Christmas order dates finish on December 18th. And there’s an astonishing difference between the Christmas last order dates for many of the nation’s favourite stores. To ensure shoppers don’t miss Christmas Day entirely, international delivery expert ParcelHero has re-introduced its hugely popular online tool revealing the last order dates for most of the UK’s major online retailers, from Firebox to Harrods.
Says ParcelHero’s Head of Public Relations, David Jinks MILT: ‘While we wouldn’t want to encourage last-minute orders, because of the risk of gifts missing Christmas Day, we think it’s best to make sure shoppers are fully informed of the cut-off dates for placing orders. There’s quite a chasm between the best and worst delivery cut offs from the UK’s biggest stores. Last year Argos stole the crown as the saviour of the most procrastinating shoppers: with its same day service still delivering on Christmas Eve. This year a number of other well-known retailers are also taking Christmas orders on the 24th, including Net-A-Porter.’
